Updating drivers for devcon failed

Because we had nearly 500 computers, manually installing the drivers wasn't practical. To save a lot of time and manpower, we used Dev Con (devcon.exe).

The first step was to put Dev Con and the driver on a share so that they could be copied to users' systems.

Then I run the "install package\Root\sysvad_Tablet Audio Sample" command and received the following: Device node created. Updating drivers for Root\sysvad_Tablet Audio Sample from C:\Users\m\Desktop\package\ The contents of the log: [Device Install (Update Driver For Plug And Play Devices) - Root\sysvad_Tablet Audio Sample] Section start 2016/02/03 .927 cmd: install package\Root\sysvad_Tablet Audio Sample dvi: dvi: .943 dvi: Searching for hardware ID(s): dvi: root\sysvad_tabletaudiosample dvi: .959 dvi: .959 dvi: Using exported function 'Media Class Installer' in module 'C:\Windows\system32\mmci.dll'. After installation I played noise in the right channel and zeros in the left (in Adobe Audition) but the noise is still audible at the right speaker so it seems the swapapo is not in the signal path. Best I was download the WDK10 and tried to build the sysvad. So, I made change in the properties that is "Treat errors as warnings - NO", after this change it successfully builds and generated required dll and cat file.

dvi: Class installer == mmci.dll, Media Class Installer dvi: Class installer: Enter .959 dvi: Class installer: Exit dvi: Default installer: Enter .975 dvi: ! Then I have tried to install using "-a tabletaudisample.inf".

Anyway, I have copied the to the package directory and copied that to a freshly installed Win10 (build 10240) virtual machine. ndv: No drivers were found that are better matching drivers for device instance ROOT\MEDIA
